Dynamic Sports Color Grading
This creative short was an exercise in building a modern and edgy sports aesthetic. The studio lighting was already very dramatic, so my color grading focused on pushing that contrast further while keeping the shadows rich and heavy. I wanted the texture of the sweat and the deep skin tones to feel highly tactile against the dark background. The final look in DaVinci Resolve is gritty and energetic, designed purely on instinct to match the physical intensity of the athlete.
